About Alpine Interface
Alpine Interface is a small, family-run company, specializing in guided hiking, trekking and walking adventures in the Alps, Europe, the Americas and in the Himalayan countries of Nepal and Tibet.
The company is run by us, Karin and Louis Marino.
Louis is our head guide, responsible for the smooth operation and high quality of all our trips, new itineraries, and for our special customer care, the main reason why we have so many repetitive clients.
Karin is the Office Manager, responsible for the administrative side, taking care of website and brochures, bookings, reservations and lots more.
In the winter months, our office is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the summers are spent in the Chamonix valley in France, which enables us to run our European trips even more effectively.
We only use IFMGA mountain guides and International Mountain Leaders
(Both members of the UIAA).
For more information on these certifications, needed to legally guide treks in Europe, please click here.
We are a short hour's drive from the Geneva International Airport via the 'White Motorway' or a quick train ride away from numerous European destinations via France's famous TGV bullet train.
Alpine Interface is your connection to professionally run hiking and walking journeys.
From hiking the majestic trails of the Alps in small groups (no more than 8 people per trek) to sipping wine in Provence after a good day on the trails or refreshing in the Mediterranean sea after walking along the Cretan coast, we offer a wide variety of journeys to make your dream holiday come true.
We can also customize nearly any destination, working around your dates, group size and budget.
Our trekking and climbing trips in the Americas and the Himalaya will leave you literally breathless, amidst towering peaks whilst interacting with the local population thanks to our local bilingual guides.
