Karin Stubenvoll
Karin is of German descent, discovering trekking and skiing in the Black Forest in Germany as a child. After successfully finishing an internship with IBM, the reputation of the Chamonix Valley as one of the greatest ski areas in the world brought her to France.
After three winter seasons she made Chamonix her home base, working for the European tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, perfecting her English, French and Spanish.
Along with operating Alpine Interface, Karin has assisted Russell Brice, one of the world's premier high altitude expedition leaders, coordinating the first foreign run guides office in the Chamonix valley.
In 2007, Karin and Louis moved to the Canadian Rockies, from where they plan to expand Alpine Interface Inc. to include new and exciting hiking, walking and skiing trips in Canada.
