SELF-GUIDED TRIPS
For the more experienced and avid hiker, a guide is sometimes not needed, at least not for finding the next path/hotel/restaurant.
However, many groups like to have all accommodation booked and luggage transportation organized before starting on the trail.
Due to many inquiries over the last years, we have started to organized self-guided trips in the Alps, mainly for the Tour du Mont Blanc and the Walker's Haute Route.
We can organize accommodation, luggage transport, rental cars, maps and background information plus tips and what to see and where to go for all our alpine trips.
If you are interested in any of our trips self-guided, please contact us, we will get an estimate to you within two days.
However, please bear in mind that a guide is not only part of the group for your safety.
All our guides are certified hiking guides, which means they have worked hard for up to three years to become International Mountain Leaders.
All of them are at least bilingual, have tremendous knowledge of the region they are working in, and know the hoteliers very well, plus - they can lead you to places you wouldn't find without a guide. Having a guide on your trip will enrich your experience, and you will get some in-depth knowledge of the places you visit, instead of 'just admiring the scenery' (Which is, of course, some of the most spectacular mountains and valleys there are...).
