The Dolomites are a mountain range located in the north-eastern are of Italy, featuring some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes anywhere, with vertical walls, sheer cliffs and a high density of narrow, deep and long valleys, dotted with picturesque villages and towns.
Our Dolomites Extravaganza from the Fassa Valley to Cortina d’Ampezzo combines the best of the Dolomites in one trip, staying in charming, upscale four-star hotels. Combining the best of Austrian and Italian Cuisine: desserts, pasta, great vegetarian dishes, and some of the best beers and wines to be found in the Alps.
Our day-hikes allow for maximum flexibility, and not having to move to another location every day makes for a slower, more relaxed pace, while taking in the best hikes between Vigo di Fassa and Cortina d’Ampezzo. There is also the possibility to either have a rest day and pamper yourself, enjoying all the hotel amenities, shopping for great Italian products or simply lounging and enjoying your hard-earned time off.
We will hike the must-see places in the Dolomites: Rosengarten, Alpe di Siusi, the World War I sites around Rifugio Lagazuoi, and, of course, the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
