Dolomites Hiking Extravaganza

Contact Us for More Info
Our Dolomites Extravaganza combines the best of the Dolomites in one trip, staying in charming, upscale four-star hotels. Our day-hikes allow for maximum flexibility, and not having to move to another place makes for a slower, more relaxed pace, while taking in the best hikes between Vigo di Fassa and Cortina d'Ampezzo. We will hike the must-see places in the Dolomites: Rosengarten, Alpe di Siusi, the World War I sites around Rifugio Lagazuoi, and, of course, the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Itinerary

Day 1 and 2: Val di Fassa
Welcome, trip briefing and dinner in our four-star hotel in Alba di Canazei on arrival day.
Possible day-hikes for Day 2 include a traverse of the Rosengarten, or a loop around the Latemar Range.

Day 3, 4, and 5: Selva/Wolkenstein, Val Gardena
On Day 3 we hike from the Fassa Valley to Selva: A quick transfer to the Sella Pass, from where we hike along the Langkofel Group.
Day 4 and 5 options include Alpe di Siusi (Seiser Alm), or a hike from Odles to Stevia.

Day 6 and 7: Colfosco/Kolfuschg
On Day 6 we will walk over the Puez Plateau to Colfosco. We will drive to the Gardena Pass, or take the gondola. The Puez Plateau is very different from other areas in the Dolomites and almost has a ‘moonscape’ feel to it. After a hearty lunch in the Puez hut, we carry on downwards to Colfosco. Day 7 has several options, including a hike to the Rifugio Lagazuoi and its famous World War I tunnels, or the Rifugio Averau. Back to Colfosco for the night.

Day 8: Tre Cime di Lavaredo – Cortina d’Ampezzo
The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen) are a must for any hiker going to the Dolomites. A quick transfer brings us to the Rifugio Auronzo, from where we start our loop hike around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, including a lunch stop at the charming Rifugio Pian di Cengia (Büllelejoch Hütte).
We transfer to Cortina after finishing our hike gain at the Rifugio Auronzo.

Day 09: Departure Day
Departure from Cortina d’Ampezzo at your leisure.
