Here’s a refreshing twist on popular walking tours in Italy. Skip the overcrowded tourist spots and discover a whole new perspective. The Dolomites are among the top destinations for walking tour vacations. Enjoy hiking, climbing, sightseeing, and the pleasures of a summer holiday on the “Old Continent.” In the heart of the Alps, the Dolomites offer the perfect fusion of Italian and Austrian culture. Count on Italian charm, legendary Italian food and wine, Tyrolean guesthouses, Austrian efficiency and superbly crafted beer! You’ll also travel back in time to the Alta Badia, one of the most picturesque valleys in the heart of the Dolomites.
The trip starts with a transfer from Venice to Colfosco, one of the picturesque little mountain towns. From there we will make our way through the areas around Passo Falzarego, Lagazuoi and Rifugio Averau, which played an important role during the Great War, as the front ran right across the Dolomites. Our last day will be spent circumnavigating the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, before heading to Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Join us for seven days of hiking surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, quaint villages and fields of wildflowers.
