The Baja California Peninsula of Mexico is a sea kayaking paradise of translucent waters, uninhabited islands and a plethora of wildlife that seems to be omnipresent, from whales that migrate into its cool waters to sea lions and many species of sea birds.
But Baja is also mountainous peninsula with a large network of trails, ancient cave paintings, 3000 metre high granite peaks and Spanish era villages allowing for fantastic hiking opportunities.
With UNESCO status and boasting several Marine Parks, the Sea of Cortez is truly the ” Aquarium of the world” as Cousteau so eloquently coined the expression. An unforgettable sea kayaking & hiking experience, for intermediate and advanced kayakers.
